Hi, I’m Meg!

Once you get to know me, you’ll quickly realize I have a serious obsession with luxury resorts and cruises. If I’m not at home, there’s a very good chance I’m poolside at a beautiful hotel with a glass of champagne or sailing on the newest ship to hit the water.

I’m the founder of Traveluxe and the face behind That Resort Girl, where I share the resorts, cruises, destinations, and travel experiences I genuinely think are worth knowing about.

But That Resort Girl is more than a travel account.

It’s backed by a full-service travel agency and a team of experienced travel advisors who help clients plan and book vacations every day.

If you find a resort, cruise, or trip through my content and want help making it happen, we can take it from there and book everything for you from door to door.

I don’t just talk about travel. I book it.

My team and I help clients choose the right vacation, make the reservations on their behalf, and guide them through the planning process from start to finish.

That may include:

  • Luxury resorts and all-inclusive vacations

  • Family vacations

  • Honeymoons and anniversary trips

  • Disney vacations and Disney Cruise Line

  • Royal Caribbean and other cruise vacations

  • European river cruises

  • Hawaii, Alaska, Europe, and the Caribbean

The goal is simple: help you spend your vacation budget on something you’ll actually love.

Travel is my actual job.

I founded Traveluxe after years of building a business around one thing I’ve always been unusually good at: researching trips to death.

Today, Traveluxe is a luxury travel agency with advisors across the country, and we help families and couples plan vacations all over the world.

Our agency has been recognized by some of the biggest names in travel, but what matters most to me is that we know how to turn all of that industry access and experience into better recommendations for our clients.

Because a beautiful hotel is easy to find.

The right hotel for you is much harder.

A few things about me

I’m based in Chicago, I’ve been to Disney more than 100 times, and I’m perfectly capable of spending an entire trip at a gorgeous resort without ever feeling the need to “go do something.”

I love beautiful hotels, great restaurants, a really good pool, thoughtful service, and vacations where someone else has already figured out all the logistics.

I also have very strong opinions about resort rooms, airport transfers, bad pillows, overpriced hotels, and whether a club-level upgrade is actually worth it.

That is probably why That Resort Girl exists.

Want help planning your trip?

If you’ve found something you love here, you don’t have to figure out the rest on your own.

My team and I can help you choose the right resort, cruise, or itinerary and book the trip for you.
